DAISY MAY
Daisy is a freelance illustrator and artist. She works predominately with pen and watercolour but is always looking for new ways to develop her technique. The latest challenge is to introduce ink into her working process.
She takes great pride in drawing the details. Each illustration is the culmination of several hours of ‘research’ drawings where she studies each animal to understand how it moves.
The final drawing is a combination of realism and whimsical fairy tale.
Daisy studied at Loughborough University and Central Saint Martins in London. She has developed her practice since graduation from her studio in Surrey.
When she is not drawing she is likely to either be running or cycling or possibly sewing.
