LISA INGRAM
Over the last 25 years, ceramics have been a passion for Lisa. After studying at Nottingham and Oxford Universities and bringing up four children, she now has more time to devote to the craft, and for the last 9 years, has been honing her pottery skills at West Street Potters in Farnham. She took part in Surrey Open Studios in June and loves combining throwing and hand building techniques to create slightly quirky, modern shapes, particularly evident in the handles she makes.

She favours soft blue and green glazes, reminiscent of seaside colours, and spots and stripes are also favourites when it comes to decoration. Working from her light-filled home studio in rural Hampshire, Lisa loves trying to combine beauty with practicality, so those everyday objects you use all the time also have a bit of style and individuality.
